What a fantastic hotel, everything about it is perfect. The rooms, the bar ,the staff ,the food is excellent. Had my birthday weekend there and enjoyed every second. Mike and Teresa are stars they are so friendly. I eat there often and the food is delicious. I can't wait until my next trip. Well done to the owners for this fantastically run hotel.
What a hidden gem! The staff were lovely and attentive, the food hot, fresh and timely and the ambience just perfect! £35 for a set 4 course dinner then coffee in the lounge whilst relaxing listening to the most talented pianist! Perfect evening!
Fantastic stay! The staff at Empire Hotel went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The location is perfect, right on the beach. The rooms were immaculate and the on-site restaurant was divine. Will definitely return!
Excellent customer service professional friendly. Some staff above been working over over 40 years. Been in family over 75 years. Sign of a well run business to be able to keep loyal staff
Well done management and staff
Traveled in a group with railtrail tours. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, superb food. A delight to return to the hotel in the evening, sit by the pool with a drink and enjoy the last rays of sun knowing there would be a delicious evening meal to follow.
The swimming pool area had a terrible smell. No-one cleaned the pool area. It really let's the hotel down. We were in room 3 & the bathroom was not clean, lots of mould around the shower, taps not clean. The cleaner did half a job. The lack of cleanliness really let's this hotel down.
Paid £430 for 2nights left after 1 night food. Very poor 4 small helping low quality breakfast cold with economy food you pay for unused swimming pool and thousands of lights on day and night because of the dark building
Our favourite local place to go to for a splendid meal before we go to the theatre. The food is excellent and the staff are absolutely lovely.
